Are your Pullets ready to lay eggs? Here are the Signs
1) Chickens are usually between the ranges of 16-24 weeks old.
2) Chickens are checking out the Nesting Boxes.
3) Red Combs and Waddles- typically swollen and a deep red.
4) The Chicken Squat- pullets take a submissive posture. You can expect eggs soon after.

What to Expect from Pullets laying Eggs:
When a pullet begins laying eggs they will be small! However, with each progressive egg laid, the egg size will gradually increase. Given a few months of consistent egg laying, the pullet’s eggs will reach their full size.
